Zoom Real Time Communication Stacks

Zoom has just extended the developer eco-system by introducing a MAC RTC stack and also released additional customization functions in its iOS and Android stacks. The new enhancements will let you have full control of the Zoom UI and functions — for instance, you can completely disable the in meeting UI buttons (remove the top and bottom menu bar). The new release also has an additional authentication feature — you can now pass the end user credentials (user name and password) to the stack instead of using the SDK key/secret. This will let any zoom user to use your app instead of tying the app to an account.

Another new feature on our iOS stack is the option for an application to share it’s view controller — this means, you can share your app screen to other Zoom users taking advantage of our real time communication infrastructure. Zoom is now helping several presentation software companies in integrating these new features in their iPad apps.
